Camelback Ford Donates Over $6K for Breast Cancer Research

TGen and City of Hope

Breast cancer is a disease that doesn’t discriminate based on age, race or gender. It affects millions of people each year, and we want to do what we can to assist those dealing with this devastating disease.

During the month of October, Camelback Ford donated $25 for every vehicle sold, and we were able to raise $6,175 to help support TGen, an affiliate of City of Hope. These two organizations have partnered to help speed up the time it takes for research discoveries to become available for real-world use by patients. City of Hope is a leader in several fields, including select solid tumors, hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplantation, while TGen specializes in “applying genomic analysis and bioinformatics to cancer drug development.”

We’d like to thank everyone who made a vehicle purchase this past October. The money donated is going to a great cause, and will positively impact both those suffering with breast cancer and the loved ones who support them. While October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this is a topic that deserves attention all year round. If it’s within your means, we hope you’ll consider making a donation to TGen and City of Hope to help contribute to all of the important work that they do.
