
Lewis Carroll's fantastical story, "Alice in Wonderland," will soon be brought to life in a unique stage play set to original music by Gerry Cullity. In this musical adaptation of Carroll's most well-known novel, when a curious young girl named Alice accidentally stumbles into a rabbit burrow, she discovers the zany world of Wonderland - a place full of madcap characters like the mischievous Chesire Cat, bloodthirsty and hard-to-please Queen of Hearts, and eccentric Mad Hatter.
Cullity's original music and lyrics guide us as Alice embarks on a wild adventure, which includes scenes from famous chapters of the book, like "A Mad Tea-Party" and "The Queen's Croquet Ground." Overall, you can expect a whimsical, exciting and fun show that's sure to be a must-see for theatregoers. Gerry Cullity's production of "Alice in Wonderland" will take place at Desert Stages Theatre from Aug. 22 through Sept. 21, 2014. The theatre is located at 4720 N.
