This season on the History Channel's hit show "American Pickers," Frank Fitz and Mike Wolfe are traveling the country in Ford's all-new, full-size commercial van - the 2015 Transit - on sale in Phoenix soon! According to the show's hosts, Transit best met all of their needs with its rugged durability, excellent EcoBoost fuel economy and incredible cargo hauling capabilities.

"The biggest thing is, when the van is full, then we've got to come home. I'm interested in real estate on wheels," Wolfe said during the episode aired on April 30. "There were four or five different vehicles I was looking at, and I just keep coming back to the Ford as the better choice."

The 2015 Ford Transit replaces their previous Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and features 487 cubic feet of storage space and a five-cylinder diesel engine with 346 lb.-ft. of torque. As Fitz and Wolfe travel across the states looking for high-value collectables and restorable gems that they can sell at their antique shop in Iowa, the Transit's excellent fuel efficiency and muscular hauling power will definitely come in handy. The pair also selected the extended-wheelbase model with a high roof for optimal cargo volume.
