Enjoy Labor Day Weekend at the Salt River

Salt River Tubing

There’s no better way to celebrate Labor Day Weekend than by floating down the famed Salt River in Mesa, Arizona. This long held tradition has become an unofficial rite of passage for Arizona residents, and remains one of the most popular activities in the Valley when the temps begin to rise.

Saturday through Monday (September 2-4, 2017) from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., thousands of people from all across the state will head to the Salt River for the opportunity to make their way through the Tonto National Forest via an inner tube. This group outing serves as a great way to enjoy a fun day with your friends, drinking refreshments as your feet dangle in the cool water while under the hot Arizona sun. As part of this year’s Labor Day Weekend activities, Salt River Tubing will also be handing out litter bags to floaters, encouraging them to properly dispose of their picnic trash to help preserve the environment.

To join in on the Labor Day Weekend fun, it’ll only cost you $17, which includes tube rental, shuttle bus service and parking. For more information about this exciting opportunity, please visit Salt River Tubing’s official site today for details!
