Road tripping is a ton of fun, but you can make sure that nothing ruins it by just being prepared. It can be very helpful to make a list of the things you need to do before you leave the house and what you need to bring. Mark your list off as you get things done or put items into your car, that way you basically have a fool-proof way to not forget anything. You should make sure that you pack what you need, but not over pack. You don't want to be stuffed into your car simply because you over packed. You should have snacks, and activities planned so that you stay entertained and alert as you drive. Bring books on tape and a good mix of music. Plan out some things to do on the way to your destination as well as once you get there. Have fun!
