On Monday, July 4, 2016, the Phoenix Zoo is celebrating Independence Day with a party that offers fun for adults and kids of all ages!
From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., guests will get to fill their bellies with American-style summer barbeque, including hotdogs, hamburgers and BBQ baked beans - all served up by Lancer Catering. Vegetarians won’t feel left out either with veggie burgers and green salad on the menu. Beer and wine will be available for purchase during dinner service, as well as during the fireworks show.

At the back of the Phoenix Zoo, a great view of the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular is available, offering a VIP July 4th experience for guests. The fireworks kickoff at 9 p.m. and seating is provided, so there’s no need to bring your own chairs.
Along with food and fireworks, attendees can take free carousel rides between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and watch live entertainment provided by Studio 8. A slide and bounce houses will also be open to kids. Additionally, some special animals are making guest appearances just for the event!
