Professional rally driver Ken Block has released the latest installment in his Gymkhana video series, and as always, it’s full of thrills and non-stop action. This time around, Block took his 2016 Ford Focus RS RX to an industrial park in Buffalo, New York, to see what it could do off the race course.
Last time we saw Block, he was drifting around the streets of Dubai, so seeing him hit the dirt in Gymkhana 9 is quite refreshing. Rumors circulating claim Block originally had plans to film the newest vid in Australia, but the Aussies weren’t too keen about the idea and turned him down. Block ended up moving the shoot to Buffalo instead and we can’t say we’re disappointed with the outcome.
Watching Block do donuts around an F-150 suspended in the air by a helicopter, drifting by columns and just barely making it past a train are just a few of the highlights of Gymkhana 9. There’s also a fantastic scene of him using a bridge as his personal playground while it slowly elevates, leaving him with no exit.
If you want to see all the excitement, take a look at the video above. We guarantee you’ll be impressed by Block’s phenomenal skills!
