The 24th Annual TAPS Memorial Golf Tournament was a hole-in-one and Camelback Ford was very proud to sponsor the event, which took place on April 12, 2014 at WIGWAM Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The yearly competition honors the memory of police officers lost in the line of duty and raises money that is put toward a college tuition reimbursement fund for survivors of deceased law enforcement officers.

At this year's event, participants got to play with and against NFL legends like Larry Walton, former wide receiver for the Detroit Lions; Patrick Hunter, former cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks; and Prentice McCray, former player for the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions. Attendees also had an opportunity to meet some of the girls from The Sidewinders, dance team for the Arizona Rattlers. Additionally, participants received a hot catered lunch, free golf shirts, tee bags and other goodies. Raffle tickets were also on sale and fun prizes were given away at lunch.
Every year, the TAPS Memorial Golf Tournament gives Valley residents a chance to show off their skills on the green, while raising money for an important cause. We were honored to take part in the event and assist in the organization's mission to give back to families of fallen officers.
