Open Saturdays and Sundays now through March 29, 2015, the 27th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival offers a taste of 16th century fun to visitors young and old. Take a step back in history and enter a time when royals ruled, Shakespeare was at his peak and knights jousted for glory.

With a 13-stage theater, excellent Pleasure Feast menu, and all sorts of arts and crafts, there's a little something for everyone to enjoy at AZ Ren Fest. In the village marketplace, you can watch artisans in their workshops sculpting, glass blowing, candle making and creating all types of medieval-era products right before your eyes. The market is also a great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts or unique home décor items, clothing and jewelry for yourself.
Additionally, with jousting competitions, falconry shows, acrobatics, hypnotism and many other great Middle Ages themed shows scheduled, guests are in for day-long, family friendly fun.
When you're not catching performances, there's a variety of exciting games and rides to enjoy, including but not limited to: bow or crossbow target shooting, paintball, the Climbing Tower, Dragon's Tower Slide (a new addition!) and The Piccolo Pony - the largest rocking horse in the world.
All of this and more is taking place at the 2015 Arizona Renaissance Festival. Along with weekends, the festival will be open on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 16. For more information about the festival and to get tickets online, please visit www.royalfaires.com/arizona.
