If you’re a video game fan, get ready to geek out about this special one-off Halo Sandcat custom-edition F-150, which has been designed to celebrate the debut of “Halo 5: Guardians.” The truck will be displayed at the Los Angeles Convention Center and several public events leading up to the official release of the newest “Halo” video game in October.
The Ford F-150 Halo Sandcat is based off a Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 with an FX off-road package and several other modifications have been made to transform it into a desert runner. Top among them is the addition of an Addictive Desert Designs’ Baja XTR kit, which comes with side steps, ADD fenders, FOX Racing shocks and a custom Halo body wrap that gives the pickup a militaristic look that “Halo” fans will appreciate. The truck’s appearance is inspired by the video game and was specifically imagined for use by the game’s United Nations Space Command (UNSC), an agency dedicated to scientific, exploratory and military exploits. Fittingly, the Sandcat also features an Xbox One and video game displays on the interior of the truck.
While you can’t get your hands on an actual F-150 Halo Sandcat, at least not in real life, you can get your hands on one of our F-150 Lariat SuperCrew editions. They’re among our broad collection of F-150 SuperCrew models and offer the dependable, hardworking performance you require to battle the unexpected.
