It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Phoenix! CitySkate, the Valley’s largest and only real outdoor ice rink, has returned for another year and it’s a great place to take your hubby and kids out for some fun family time. Now through Jan. 11, 2016, the rink will be open every day of the week at various times, including hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

New at CitySkate this year, a beautifully decorated 36-foot tree has been placed right in the center of the rink, providing a dazzling holiday display for guests to view while gliding along the ice. In addition, there are new nightly light shows that run four times a night back to back. For details about CitySkate hours and admission prices, click here to visit the ice rink’s official website.

Santa is also making appearances at the rink this month too, so bring your little ones out to tell him all their requests for holiday gifts and remember to bring your camera. Santa is taking time out of his busy schedule to be at the rink on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
