If you've ever seen your car being towed away, perhaps for mistakenly being in a no parking area, you probably understand just how frustrated the guy in this video is. Along with being stuck without a car, there are also fines and/or parking tickets to deal with. But even considering all this, would you attempt to get your vehicle back while it's in the middle of being towed?

This guy did. And we're not sure if it was the smartest idea.

According to The Daily Mail, a UK newspaper, the man in the video walked out to a street in Walthamstow, East London, and discovered that his car had been loaded on a flatbed tow truck. The vehicle hadn't been strapped down yet, so to avoid a ticket for his parking violation, he decided to get his car back before it could be towed away.

Of course, after seeing the huge drop it took getting back on the ground and hearing the loud thumping noises that resulted, you've got to wonder if he'll be paying more for auto repairs and maintenance than he would have had to shell out for the parking ticket.
