2017 C-Max Gets Exciting New Features

The 2017 Ford C-Max Hybrid, and its Energi plug-in cousin, are both getting some highly anticipated, new features this model year, including an updated front fascia and a new Titanium model on the hybrid edition, and two new trim levels on the Energi. New Trims & Features

As we said above, the 2017 Ford C-Max, for sale now near Scottsdale, comes in two distinct models: Hybrid and Energi. Both models comes in two trim levels: SE and Titanium, which offer just the right kinds of features and amenities that green car shoppers are looking for.

Standard features on the C-Max SE include everything from 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone app iteration and a USB interface to a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, cloth upholstery, keyless entry, automatic headlights and a six-speaker sound system.

The Titanium trim adds even more luxury features to the C-Max, such as heated outside mirrors, leather seating, push-button start, ambient interior lighting and a premium 9-speaker Sony audio system.

There are new package options this model year, giving drivers even more equipment that they can add to the 2017 Ford C-Max in Phoenix including a panoramic glass roof, voice-controlled navigation, Ford's new Sync 3 infotainment system, automated parallel parking and even fun cargo management features.

Excellent Green Powertrains

There are two terrific green powertrains available on both the C-Max Hybrid and Energi. The standard hybrid displacement is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine/electric motor/lithium-ion battery pack combination that produces 188 horsepower.

For those wanting even more electric power, many 2017 Ford C-Max reviews recommend the Energi model, which comes with a similar powertrain as the hybrid, but with a larger battery pack. This pack allows the car to go up to 19 miles on electric power alone, saving folks even more at the gas pump.

Top-of-the-Line Safety

Standard safety features on the 2017 Ford C-Max include Ford's MyKey system, traction and stability control, full-length side airbags, a driver knee airbag, front seat airbags, a review camera, daytime running lights and antilock brakes.

The green car also gets 911 Assist as standard, which is a smartphone app that can be paired to your car and contacts emergency services after the airbags are deployed.
