What's New For the 2021 Ford EcoSport?
In its fourth model year, the Ford EcoSport receives some minor exterior styling changes with new blue and yellow body colors, 17-inch wheels and a new SE appearance package. The SE appearance package is an optional add-on package that offers a six-way power driver's seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, unique interior fabric and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
2021 EcoSport Trims & Features
A subcompact crossover SUV, the 2021 Ford EcoSport is available in S, SE, Titanium, and SES. It seats up to five people with its two rows of seats, and its maximum cargo volume of 50 cubic feet is above average for the class. The upper-level Titanium and SES trims get steering wheel heating with perforated leather upholstery and front-seat heating. Six-way power driver's seat appears on the Titanium trim while stain-resistance seat material is offered on the SES.
Standard comfort and convenience features on the Ford EcoSport include remote keyless entry, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker AM/FM stereo system, two USB ports for hooking up mobile devices, and SYNC infotainment integration anchored with a 4.2-inch display. At the SE trim level, Ford adds a power moonroof, electronic automatic climate control, a SiriusXM Radio trial subscription, a smart key system with push-button engine start, and an 8-inch touchscreen to go with an upgrade to SYNC 3. The Titanium introduces an auto-dimming rearview mirror, trial subscriptions to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, and a voice-activated 8-inch touchscreen navigation system. In addition, as the luxury-oriented trim, the Titanium is the only EcoSport trim with a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The SES builds off the SE trim, adding a seven-speaker system and enhancing performance features, such as sport-tuned suspension and all-wheel drive.

2021 Ford EcoSport Horsepower
The base engine on the 2021 Ford EcoSport is a turbocharged 1.0-liter inline 3-cylinder engine with 123 horsepower. The performance-oriented SES gets a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, with a power output of 166 horsepower. Both engines are pinned to 6-speed automatic gearboxes.
Ford EcoSport Safety
Central to the 2021 Ford EcoSport's safety is the Ford Co-Pilot360, which combines a rearview camera, auto high-beam technology, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and a blind spot information system. Ten airbags are on board for restraint and cushioning if a crash occurs. Other base-level safety features include hill start assist, electronic stability and traction control, an SOS post-crash alert system, ABS, daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system. Rear parking sensors for the rearview camera and LEDs on the daytime running lights appear at the SE trim level. The Titanium has a perimeter alarm to enhance the theft-deterrent system.
