Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

There are three trim levels for the 2021 Ford Ranger. Any of the three trims can be ordered in two body styles. The base trim, which is the XL, has split-folding seats. Its interior gets an infotainment display screen, air conditioning, including available dual-zone AC, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Some advanced safety aids are standard on the XL as well. An available package adds power-adjustable mirrors, an enhanced sound system, and a larger infotainment center. You can also get some more safety aids through an available safety package.

The mid-level trim, called the XLT, adds amenities from both packages. It also has 16-inch alloy wheels and adds parking sensors for the back. Keyless entry is standard for this trim. It also gets an even larger seven-inch infotainment display screen. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on this trim. An available package adds a leather steering wheel and auto-dimming mirror, along with one of three appearance packages. The top Ranger trim is still the Lariat, which has navigation, remote engine start, and a premier sound system. The new off-road package may be added to any trim.

The Ranger has the same engine across the lineup. All trims are driven by a 2.3L gasoline engine with four cylinders. The 2021 Ranger's engine has a peak power output that reaches 270 HP, and it is capable of 310 LB-FT in torque. The engine is mated with a ten-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available.
