What's New for the 2022 Ford F-150

The all-new Ford F-150 comes packed with features that will please truck enthusiasts and first-time buyers alike. The exterior has been completely redesigned, for starters, giving the truck a more modern look. The cabin has also been updated, with new technology and comfort features.

Under the hood, the F-150 has a new powertrain option: a 3.5-liter V6 engine.

The F-150 also has a new off-road package that includes an electronically locking rear differential, skid plates, and Fox shocks.

2022 Ford F-150 Trims & Features

The F-150 is available in five trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum.

Standard features across all trims include:

• LED headlights.
• A tailgate with a built-in step.
• Ford's Sync infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The XLT trim adds power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-inch touch screen.

The Lariat trim has even more luxury features, such as heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and wireless charging.

The King Ranch trim adds off-road features like all-terrain tires and an electronic locking rear differential.

Finally, the top-of-the-line Platinum trim comes with bells and whistles, including a panoramic sunroof, massaging front seats, and a surround-view camera system.

2022 Ford F-150 Horsepower

The base engine for the F-150 is a 3.3-liter V6 that produces 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft of torque.

The next step up is a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque.

There's a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque for even more power.

The newest engine option is a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft of torque.

Finally, the top engine option is a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 500 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft of torque.

2022 Ford F-150 Safety

The F-150 comes standard with many safety features, including front and rear airbags, a rearview camera, and Ford's MyKey system.

Other available safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a surround-view camera system.
