2011 Ford Mustang V6:
The new 3.7L 4V Ti-VCT V6 engine achieves an industry-exclusive 305
horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque while delivering EPA-estimated 31
hwy MPG. That's due in part to twin independent variable cam timing
(TiVCT) which allows variable control of intake and exhaust camshafts.
This capability optimizes combustion at full load to provide improved
power and low speed torque. It also enables variable valve overlap,
which provides better fuel economy and optimizes cold start operation
with improved exhaust emissions.

Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (TiVCT), a aluminum engine

only for starters. The cylinder head design is optimized to increase
airflow. The spark plugs are optimized to deliver more fire, resulting
in a more powerful and efficient combustion, thanks to the High-Energy
Coil-on-Plug Design. And to handle all the heat this engine generates,
the cooling jets are designed to keep the engine running at higher
temperatures and improve longevity. And then there's the H-pipe exhaust
