What's New for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport?
For the 2026 model year, the Bronco Sport offers a new Bronze Package. It enhances the SUV's exterior appearance with 17-inch Sinister Bronze wheels and striking bronze accents. On the inside, you'll find several bronze touches as well. Ford offers this eye-catching package on both the base Big Bend trim and the range-topping Badlands trim.
What Are the 2026 Bronco Sport Trims & Features?
There are four available trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.
Featuring a standard 4X4 system and five G.O.A.T. driving modes, the entry-level Big Bend trim is more than capable of taking you on an outdoor adventure. Some of the other standard equipment includes a 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto® smartphone integration, an 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster, a six-speaker stereo, and push-button start.
Retro-inspired styling elements, such as a white roof and vintage-style plaid cloth bucket seats, give the Heritage trim a throwback appearance. All-terrain tires are included as well. Its list of standard features is similar to that of the Big Bend trim.
If you desire a more premium driving experience, step up to the Outer Banks trim. While heated front bucket seats and dual-zone automatic climate control enhance comfort, leather upholstery adds an upscale touch to the cabin.
In terms of performance and trail capabilities, the Badlands trim sits at the top of the lineup. It features an advanced 4x4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit, steel bash plates, and an upgraded off-road suspension. An optional Sasquatch Badlands Package transforms the SUV into an even more skilled off-road performer.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Have?
Most trims come equipped with a 1.5-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder engine. It develops 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission powers a standard 4X4 system.
The Badlands trim uses a more potent 2.0-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. Ford tunes it to develop 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. While the Badlands trim also comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it adds steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Include?
When driving around on the street, you'll appreciate the SUV's confidence-boosting Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ safety suite. It offers features such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
