2021 Ford Explorer

What's New For the 2021 Ford Explorer?

The Ford Explorer gets even more comfortable and convenient, moving into 2021. Now, drivers will find that the XLT now comes standard with heated front seats. The Limited, ST, and Platinum trim levels all add power-adjustable front passenger seats as well. There is now a Sport Appearance package that is exclusive to the XLT model. It gives the Explorer a bolder look, adding unique 20-inch wheels, dual exhaust outlets, a different upholstery look, and more.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

There are five trim levels to check out if you are after the new 2021 Explorer. The entry-level model will keep everyone comfortable with tri-zone automatic climate control. All models have features such as a Wi-Fi hotspot, power liftgate, and smartphone integration to make life easier.

Going with a higher trim level of the 2021 Explorer adds even more to the already well-rounded SUV. The XLT, for example, gives you second-row captain's chairs and those newly standard heated front seats. Choose the Limited, and you get luxury in the form of leather upholstery and even a heated steering wheel.

The sporty ST has paddle shifters and front-seat memory functions. It also has a sport-tuned suspension along with sport front seats. Platinum models take the sophistication to the next level with upgraded leather and a digital gauge display.
