The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is a full-size truck with much to offer. It gives you all the advantages of the regular F-150 plus efficiency. The Lightning is comfortable to ride in and quick to accelerate. It's also willing and able to get the job done, no matter what tasks you demand of it throughout the work day. The Lightning is an overall practical truck that gets some additional styling choices for select trims this year, along with slight changes to standard and available features.

What Are the 2024 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?

There are five trims available in the F-150 series.

The Pro starts the lineup with LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and a crew cab design shared with others. This truck also has a Class IV hitch and an electronic-locking rear axle. Vinyl seats are standard, and the flooring is covered with black vinyl. The front seats are heated, and you'll get dual-zone climate control.

The second trim in the lineup is the XLT, which has larger alloy wheels. The interior also has carpeted instead of vinyl floors. Other interior upgrades include a leather steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and power-adjustable pedals that drivers of all sizes can comfortably reach. The rear window also has a defroster mechanism for safer and more convenient driving in cold and inclement weather.

Additional under-seat rear storage is another advantage.

The Flash trim adds a wireless phone charger, a heated steering wheel, a power liftgate with an integrated step, a push-button start, and a keyless entry system.

The Lariat adds a dual-pane sunroof, leather seats, ventilated front seats, and power-folding exterior mirrors.

The Platinum comes with 22-inch wheels, upgraded leather seats, massaged front seats, interior trim upgrades, and a 14-speaker sound system.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 F-150 Lightning Have?

The Lightning has a maximum power output of 452 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque with the base powertrain and up to 580 horsepower with the larger battery pack that comes with the Flash, Lariat, and Platinum trim levels. No matter which powertrain you get, the Ford Lightning tows up to 7,700 pounds. Four-wheel drive is standard on all models, and the F-150 Lightning gets up to 240 miles of all-electric range.
