2023 Ford F-150 vs 2023 Ford Super Duty

Ford's F-series is a force to contend with for any light or heavy-duty truck. The F-150 solidly sews up that segment, and the Super Duty is in control of complete domination among the world's finest heavy-duty trucks. The F-150 isn't just the Super Duty but smaller, though, and the Super Duty isn't just a bigger F-150. The distinct characteristics make both of these trucks forceful leaders in their classes.

Performance

Light-duty and heavy-duty trucks have big differences in performance, and that's exactly how they should be. The F-150 delivers 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque on its 3.3L V6 base model engine. The base Super Duty engine is a 6.8L V8 gas engine that's motivated to the tune of 405 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Both models offer multiple choices for your engine and top out at 430 horsepower (F-150) and 500 horsepower (Super Duty). The Super Duty also gets more torque than you've ever seen from the Super Duty: 1,200 pounds of torque.

Appearance

As a light-duty model, the F-150 gets a trimmer and more athletic build. It's constructed with a high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy body and high-strength steel frame. The Super Duty gets a complete overhaul this year with a complete near-piping system to surround and define its thick and highly decorative grille. Full and vertical LED headlamps are trademarks of the F-150 and Super Duty appearances. New features like tailgate-down cameras and bed views from the cabin make it easier to admire your truck even while you're driving too.

Features

Ford's devotion to workers is evident in the new interiors of these two models. They've delivered a center console that doubles as a work surface, perforated leather-appointed seats for your comfort, and a duo of huge 12-inch screens for the front-seat passenger. You'll notice perforated leather earlier in the Super Duty's lineup, but it's there for the F-150, too, if you want to take advantage of real wood trim and leather seating. Ford Co-Pilot also resides on both models with automatic emergency braking and lane departure alert features.

These two bold, bestselling Ford trucks are capable of keeping up with you no matter what your mission is each day. Please visit us or contact us online to discuss these two award-winning Ford pickups further with a skilled sales team member.
