Trims & Features

The 2018 Ford C-Max is offered in two trims, which are the Hybrid SE and the Hybrid Titanium. The Hybrid SE comes equipped with EcoGuide SmartGauge and Regenerative Braking System. SmartGauge offers various customizable display options that allow you to see how your individual driving habits alter the C-Max's efficiency and will provide you with driving suggestions to maximize efficiency. The Regenerative Braking System allows the C-Max to store the energy typically lost during breaking in your battery for later use. The C-Max Hybrid Titanium offers SYNC 3, Intelligent Access, Push-Button Start, and a Foot-Activated Liftgate. Horsepower

The C-Max has been awarded the Best-In-Class Horsepower for the Small Hybrid Vehicles Class. Owners can expect to reach a top speed of 85 MPH in all-electric power mode. It touts a combined 188 horsepower which is powered by the coupled lithium-ion battery and 2.0L Atkinson-cycle I-4 gas engine. Both the lithium-ion battery and engine work together with the unique power-split hybrid architecture that allows you to get the most out of your C-Max. You can expect to get 42 MPG when city driving and 38 MPG on the highway*.

Safety

Available Active Park Assist is a safety feature that provides the driver with the assistance they need to parallel park the C-Max. Simply activating this feature will allow it to identify the perfect parking space for its size while the driver is driving down a row of parallel parking spaces. Simply stopping and letting the System Assistance take over is all that's necessary to have the perfect parallel parking job every time. Fiddling with turning on the wipers can be dangerous when on a busy road. With the Ford C-Max, you'll never have to worry about it due to its Rain-Sensing Wipers.
