2021 Ford Expedition

What's New For the 2021 Ford Expedition?

The Ford Expedition is relatively the same in 2021 as it was in 2020. For 2021, Ford's Co-Pilot360 Assist, an advanced driver-assistance package, is available as an option on the XLT trim. All Expedition trims get new wheel designs. The Expedition has some slight variations in features depending on which trim you choose, including some more off-road-oriented packages that can enhance its performance even more. The Ford Expedition's interior is one of the most spacious and comfortable SUV's classes, with room for up to eight adults in three rows.

2021 Expedition Trims and Features

The 2021 Ford Expedition comes in four trims. The base trim, the XLT, comes well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a safe and comfortable ride. Standard features include an eight-inch infotainment console that supports your smartphone and favorite apps.

The base trim includes split-folding seats as well, and it has plenty of storage space around the cabin. The XLT also comes with Ford's CoPilot360 suite of driver aids. You can enhance your ride with several packages such as a Black Accent package that gives its exterior a special black paint color and the FX4 package, which is an off-road package that enhances the base trim's capabilities.

Larger 20-inch wheels are standard on the Limited trim, which also adds cabin lighting and a higher-end sound system. Power-adjustable pedals and leather seats are also standard. Next is the King Ranch with special leather seats, accent stitches, and badges. The King Ranch has even larger and more dazzling 22-inch wheels. The Platinum is the top of the line. It focuses on luxury with satin-aluminum trim on the outside and power running boards.

How Much Power Does the Expedition Have?

Two engines are available for the 2021 Expedition based on your selected trim level. The first three trims have the same engine, which is a 3.5L gasoline engine with a twin-turbo configuration. This engine, a V6, creates 375 HP. Its peak torque reaches 470 LB-FT. The second engine, reserved for the Platinum, generates 400 HP.

Technologies to Keep You Safe

The Ford Expedition comes with Ford's CoPilot360 safety system. Forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection are some of the Expedition's main safety features.
