What's New For the 2021 Ford Mustang?
For 2021, even the entry-level Mustang now comes standard with a CoPilot360 safety technology package. However, the biggest news is the release of the iconic Mach 1 model. This special-edition Mustang has several exclusive exterior treatments. It also comes equipped with a few upgraded performance parts.
2021 Mustang Has Varied Trim Levels & Countless Features
The base Mustang EcoBoost is perfect for folks who desire a fun and economical muscle car. You'll also enjoy a lot of great standard features, including a Wi-Fi hot spot and voice control technology. Some premium upgrades are on the list of options. Many drivers will want Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system, which features an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Other options include a nine-speaker stereo, a power driver's seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
If you seek more luxury, step up to the Mustang EcoBoost Premium. It comes equipped with synthetic leather upholstery and heated/ventilated front seats. Many of the base model's options also come standard on the Mustang EcoBoost Premium. Among the EcoBoost Premium trim's options include a digital gauge cluster, navigation, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo. Equipped with a monstrous V8 engine, the Mustang GT packs more muscle under the hood. While the all-new Mach 1 model features the same V8 engine, it's specially calibrated to develop an extra 20 horsepower.

Mustang Performance
Ford rates the Mustang's standard 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine to crank out 310 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. However, an optional high-performance package bumps output to 350 horsepower. Drivers seeking a V8 engine's classic rumble will love the Mustang GT's 5.0-liter engine, which produces 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, special tuning allows the new Mustang Mach 1 to generate 480 horsepower.
Which Safety Features Are Available on the Ford Mustang?
The Mustang is already ranked among the class leaders in crash protection. A new CoPilot360 safety package now comes standard. It adds several advanced driving aids, including automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring.
