2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Model Review - Phoenix, AZ

What's New for the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning?
The F-150 Lightning is a top-rated electric truck for many great reasons. It offers the best of both worlds in terms of utility and economy. The Lightning is essentially the same as the ever-popular Ford F-150, but it has an electric powertrain rather than a standard engine. The latest F-150 Lightning has a few tweaks to standard features available, and it now has a mobile charging cord with an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
The 2025 Lightning is available in five trim levels.
The base model is called the Pro, and it's nicely equipped with vinyl seats and floors, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a trailer hitch. Standard technology includes satellite radio, a digital instrument display, a 12-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 120V power outlet. The Pro has 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, and DC fast-charging capability.
Next is the XLT, which switches to carpeted floors rather than vinyl. This trim has some upgrades too, including a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, storage space under the back seats, and more safety technology.
The Flash trim gets larger 20-inch wheels and a power tailgate with an integrated step. This trim has a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, and a keyless ignition system. A wireless phone charger is included, along with an enhanced B&O sound system with eight speakers. The Flash gets BlueCruise hands-free driving technology and more safety features.
The Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
Topping the lineup is the Platinum, which has even larger 22-inch wheels, a premium 14-speaker audio system, massaged front seats, leather interior trim, and upgraded leather seats. The Platinum also has a towing package and Pro Power Onboard, which provides 9.6kW of power to the onboard power outlets.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
