2026 Ford Super Duty Model Review - Phoenix, AZ

What's New for the 2026 Ford Super Duty?
The Super Duty rolls into the 2026 model year with no significant changes.
What Are the 2026 Super Duty Trims & Features?
Ford offers the new Super Duty in five main trim levels. Drivers who need an everyday workhorse will love what the entry-level XL trim brings to the table. It comes equipped with plenty of desirable features, including an 8.0-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot.
If you desire more style and additional amenities, consider the XLT trim. An eight-way power seat makes obtaining the perfect driving position easier, and alloy wheels enhance the pickup's curb appeal.
Another step up the trim ladder is the more luxurious Super Duty Lariat. Just a few of its highlights include a larger 12.0-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and an eight-speaker B&O premium sound system.
The King Ranch trim is even more upscale, featuring Kingsville leather seats and power-deployable running boards. Exclusive tech features like a head-up display add to the Super Duty King Ranch's appeal.
The Super Duty Platinum offers the lineup's most luxurious drive. This range-topping trim features LED projector headlamps and LED taillights and provides climate-controlled front seats.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Super Duty Have?
The Super Duty's base power source is a stout 6.8-liter V8 engine. It's rated to develop 400 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Drivers who desire more brawn can step up to a larger 7.3-liter V8 engine. Ford tunes it to produce a robust 430 horsepower and 485 horsepower. Drivers who need maximum muscle for towing can opt for Ford's legendary Power Stroke V8 diesel engine. While the standard version develops 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, the high-output variant generates a whopping 500 horsepower and 1200 lb-ft of torque.
Although the base XL trim offers four-wheel drive as an option, all of the other trims feature a standard 4X4 system. Rugged FX4 Off-Road and Tremor Off-Road packages are also available.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Super Duty Include?
Several confidence-boosting safety features are available for the new Super Duty, including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a Blind Spot Information System.
