What's New for the 2026 Ford Transit?

The Transit returns for the 2026 model year with a slew of meaningful updates. Drivers can take full advantage of the van's newly standard tech features, which include a larger 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster. Meanwhile, an updated Ford Pro Telematics system brings improved tools to help businesses manage vehicles more efficiently.

Expanded safety technology makes the new Transit even more rewarding. Ford Co-Pilot360 is now standard across the lineup, adding confidence-inspiring driver aids such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane-Keeping Assist. Newly available Co-Pilot360 2.0 equips the van with even more advanced features. Highlights include Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), and a 360-degree camera.

To give the latest Transit a more contemporary look, Ford updated it with refreshed badges and revised taillights.

What Are the 2026 Transit Trims & Features?

The Transit is offered in two main trim levels: XL and XLT. Because of the entry-level XL trim's enhanced list of standard equipment, it becomes an even better value. Some of the notable features include an expansive SYNC 4 infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto® smartphone integration and Enhanced Voice Recognition, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, and durable vinyl flooring.

Exterior upgrades, such as more stylish aluminum wheels and a body-color front bumper with fog lights, enhance the XLT trim's appearance. On the inside, there's a larger center console with additional storage. Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 is included as well.
