Ford Improves in J.D. Power's 2025 Dependability Study

Ford was one of the biggest movers this year, hopping a full 10 positions to land in a much higher position this year for dependability (13th). J.D. Power's study measured Ford models from the 2022 model year and looked at how those vehicles performed in the last three years. Ford owners should feel extremely encouraged by this news, as it's a near certainty that Ford will continue to move up in these rankings with their even newer models.
Ford's executive director of quality, Josh Halliburton, took the time to weigh in on Ford's improvement. "We're encouraged by the progress we're making to improve quality while staying focused on tougher testing and rigorous monitoring of new vehicles to make sure they are as good as they can be when they leave the factory." Ford's optimistic outlook and focus on quality continue to pay off for Ford owners in a big way.
