Ford's New World Headquarters is Redefining the Work Experience

Ford has traditionally made a name for itself as a pioneer in the auto industry. However, Ford is now making headlines for a different reason: achieving a respectable work-life balance. Ford recently unveiled a new corporate headquarters that redefines the work experience for its employees. Ford cares about its investment in employees and wants them, as well as others in the world, to see and understand that commitment, as company leaders explain when discussing the company's latest move to revamp its headquarters.

What's New with Ford's Headquarters?

Ford recently revamped its headquarters, and as the company states, the change starts as soon as its customers or employees walk through the door. Ford says that it wants employees and customers to feel comfortable, happy, and essentially “Ford” when they walk in the door to its headquarters. To make that happen, the company has worked closely with other partners, including Arcadis and Snøhetta. Ford has collaborated with its partners to redesign its headquarters space, incorporating changes to the colors, materials, and artwork to embody a more vibrant and forward-thinking brand. Along with redesigning the brand's image, Ford has also redesigned its headquarters with its employees in mind. Considering the needs of its employees and the desires of the company, Ford has transformed its corporate headquarters into a state-of-the-art facility where people are proud to work, and customers are excited to visit for all their automotive needs.

What's New at the Ford Headquarters?

Ford is committed to delivering an exceptional experience to customers and employees who enter its revitalized headquarters. As part of the renovation, Ford has committed to incorporating modern technology and design elements into its new headquarters design plan. Ford's new plan will enable its headquarters to accommodate up to 4,000 employees simultaneously, and it will also be conveniently located within a 15-minute walk of other Ford buildings.

Along with providing convenience for its employees, Ford's new headquarters design also serves a practical purpose. The new headquarters features new color swatches from popular Ford models, ranging from the company's classic Model T to the contemporary Mustang Mach-E.

Additionally, Ford is utilizing LED lighting technology and other durable materials along the headquarters' exterior and for its interior lighting design, which are configured to maximize both aesthetics and efficiency simultaneously. As for customers, the headquarters can accommodate up to 700 guests at a time.
