For the first time ever, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has evaluated both crew- and extended-cab versions of several well-known trucks in a small overlap front crash test. Only one model excelled – the 2016 Ford F-150 – which earned a top score of “Good” in all measures of the test for both its SuperCab and SuperCrew body styles.
