Camelback Ford Presents Check for $6K to Crisis Nursery

The Camelback Ford team was pleased to present a check for $6,000 to Crisis Nursery on April 28, 2015. As you may know, we participated in the nonprofit’s K’s for Kids Run/Walk, where we had new Fords on site for guests to test drive.

For every test drive that was taken, we pledged to donate $100 to Crisis Nursery and we were elated to have 50 people take a spin for charity! On top of the test drive donations, we gave an additional $1,000 because we truly value Crisis Nursery’s efforts to provide a…

Natural Optical Illusion Makes Cars Appear to Roll 'Uphill'

Mother Nature plays an interesting trick on drivers in New Brunswick, Canada, where there's a mysterious hill that makes cars appear to roll upward without any assistance when they're put in neutral. Local drivers and tourists have freaked out about it, and soon you'll see how the unique natural illusion works.

People call it Magnetic Hill, but there is no magnetic force in the area that draws cars uphill. In fact, though it may appear to the eye that vehicles are moving upward, they are actually moving downward. See the video below to watch one driver take…

Crisis Nursery K's for Kids Fundraiser

A federal lawsuit was recently filed against the state of Arizona, specifically the Departments of Child Safety and Health Services, claiming that the system is not properly caring for the state’s most vulnerable children. There were even allegations that children had slept at state offices because there weren’t enough shelter beds and foster homes available to them.

There is a nonprofit organization we proudly support, Crisis Nursery, that aims to put a stop to this and to provide the type of caring and safe shelter that children deserve. We’d like to thank each and every person who…

Artist Converts'79 Ford Falcon into Library-Tank Mashup

When Argentinean artist Raul Lemesoff went to work on a rather unique project, his friends didn’t know what in the world he was thinking up. They had hunches: a submarine, car or weapon of some kind. Little did they know that he was stripping down and building up a 1979 Ford Falcon to transport “Weapons of Mass Instruction.”

Raul turned the Ford into a tank that’s armored with… books. Lots and lots of them. About 900 to be exact. And he drives around giving them away for free to kids and adults, though his primary target is the…

Were the Car Upgrades on MTV's 'Pimp My Ride' Fake?

It’s the burning question everyone’s been dying to know ever since the MTV show “Pimp My Ride” went off the air in the U.S. in 2007. All the flashy upgrades that were made to look like they only took days to complete, and when host and rapper Xzibit would surprise contestants “at home” - was it all just a well-choreographed and cunningly edited lie? You will be shocked by what some of the previous contestants had to say about their experiences.

Huffington Post recently talked to several of the show’s participants and one of its co-executive producers…

A Blind Date Worth Taking

In Ford’s “Mustang Speed Dating” video, several blind dates take a rather interesting turn. Literally. The Valentine’s Day-inspired prank will make you look at speed dating and blind dates in an entirely new way.

Ford got a camera crew together and enlisted a super-bad (bad meaning awesome) stunt driver from Willow Springs, Prestin Persson, who shows a group of unsuspecting men a thing or two about how a Mustang GT should be driven.

While most of the dates seem to lack chemistry, things quickly heat up when Prestin drives to an empty parking lot and takes full advantage…

Is it Ever Illegal to Honk Your Horn in Arizona?

A commonly asked question of law enforcement, many drivers wonder if it is illegal to honk a car horn unnecessarily or in cases where it distracts other commuters. We've all heard drivers go a little crazy with their car horns: honking for long periods of time out of impatience, anger, because they're simply clowning around, or even when they're trying to get the attention of someone inside a house or apartment.

According to Arizona law 28-954, "If reasonably necessary to ensure the safe operation of a motor vehicle, the driver shall give an audible warning with the…
